Child in custody over threats to 'shoot up' Pearland High School
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A Pearland High School student is in custody following an investigation into a YouTube post. The Pearland Police Department was alerted by numerous calls and messages regarding the post in which the child stated that unless his comment was 'liked' he was going to 'shoot up' the campus.
Detectives conducted an investigation and were able to identify the juvenile. The juvenile was taken into custody and is currently in custody at the Brazoria County Juvenile Detention Center, charged with a terroristic threat.
