Chance encounter leads to Irish country music star's dazzling radio performance

- A chance encounter at a UPS store led to an Irish country musician making a remarkable appearance on a nationally syndicated US country music show in Nashville, Tennessee, on March 30.

Diarmaid McGee met a producer on the Bobby Bones show at the UPS store and asked if he could appear on the show. The appearance was eventually arranged and the resultant performance of Eric Church’s song Wrecking Ball caused quite a stir.

Did you catch the random Irish listener that stopped by the show and made all the girls SWOON? Here he is singing Eric Church "Wrecking Ball." WHAT!?

While in Nashville, McGee also met the country music icon Garth Brooks.
