Chad Holley, the man at the center of 2010 beating investigation now charged with capital murder

HOUSTON, TX - UPDATE: Chad Holley faced the judge for the first time today on capital murder charges.  He is being held without bond.  His family did not talk after the appearance.

Chad Holley, the man at the center of 2010 beating investigation has now been charged with capital murder.  Holley was charged on Sunday and is slated to appear in court tomorrow on the charges.  There is no bond for his current capital murder charges.  The charges are related to the shooting death of David Trejo-Gonzales on September 21, 2016.

 Police say that Trejo-Gonzales was shot at around at 9:30pm on September 21 during a robbery attempt at East Crosstimbers near Fulton.  Holley was already in custody on un-related charges.
