Cargo hold noises prompt flight's return to IAH
HOUSTON - Flight 1035, bound for Ecuador from Houston, was forced to return to Bush Intercontinental Airport after a crew member reported unusual sounds coming from the plane's cargo hold area.
A United spokesperson says this was a maintenance issue. Ramp and maintenance team members inspected the aircraft and nothing was found.
Passengers on the flight are expected to depart on a different aircraft as a precaution.
