Chris Hurst, WDBJ7 anchor and boyfriend of Alison Parker, will return to work next week, following the August 26 shooting of Parker and WDBJ7 cameraman, Adam Ward.
Hurst took to Facebook to express his gratitude for the support of those around him, and around the country that have connected with his story. He also wants people to know Parker's story, and the issues that were closest to her.
Hurst ended the post in the a very direct, and heartfelt way:
"We will get through this and the healing has already begun. I will be at work next week. See you soon."
