HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Harris County Sheriff’s Office has charged 32-year-old Jarvis Hickerson with the murder of his girlfriend Amalia Alexander, who was reported missing three months ago.
Alexander was reported missing on September 20, 2016, and was last seen leaving a relative’s home the day before with Hickerson. Hickerson said he did not know the whereabouts of Alexander.
On November 30, Alexander's remains were found in Montgomery County. HCSO homicide investigators also located evidence that Hickerson had been near the crime scene.
Hickerson is currently in jail for violating a protective order placed on him earlier this year following a domestic violence altercation with Alexander.
