Body recovered from Mason Creek in Katy
KATY (FOX 26) - The Harris County Sheriff's Department dive team has recovered the body of an adult male from Mason Creek this afternoon.
Around 11:56 AM, officers responded to Kingsland Blvd at Westgreen, where the HCSO dive team recovered the body.
The person will be transported to the Harris County Offices of Forensic Sciences where a cause of death and ID will be established.
Prior to officers arriving at the scene, a note was found near the bank of the creek. It is being investigated as a suicide note.
