HOUSTON (FOX 26) - It was supposed to be a peaceful anti-Trump rally in Houston on Thursday night, but for some protesters, things turned ugly.
Sources say high-profile Black Lives Matter: Houston activist Sheree Dore was arrested along with four other protesters. The source adds that Dore was arrested and charged after punching a police horse in the face during the protest.
Ashton P. Woods, who is also a part of the Black Lives Matter: Houston group, confirmed on Friday morning that Dore was arrested but says he did not see her attack the horse. Woods adds that two of the five protesters have been released from jail while Dore and two others remain in custody at the Houston Police Department jail on Mykawa Road.as of 6:50 p.m. Friday.
