Basketball team scares walk-on player, then surprises him with a scholarship

This Michigan basketball walk-on player, Andrew Dakich got the surprise of his lifetime. After being threatened by what appeared to be a punishment from campus officers--Dakich was instead surprised to find out he was being award a scholarship for the rest of his season.
College coaches around the country are now vying for the most creative way to surprise walk-ons with financial aid. Michigan Wolverines coach John Beilein may have just claimed first place.
