Army veteran receives mortgage-free home in Baytown

Thanks to the partnership of U.S. Bank and the Freedom Alliance an Army veteran is now living in a newly-renovated, mortgage-free home.

Army Staff Sergeant Rodolfo Munoz was welcomed to his new home today in Baytown.

He had three deployments from 2004 to 2012, serving in Iraq and at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.

Munoz is medically retired and is rated 90 percent disabled by the VA.

He suffers from nerve damage, post-traumatic stress and other combat-related injuries.
