Anonymous takes down Trump Tower website
(STORYFUL) - Anonymous, the hacking collective, launched an attack on Donald Trump on Friday, December 11. A short video condemning Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States was posted by the group.
At around 9 a.m. ET on Friday, the group tweeted that they had taken down the website of Trump Tower in New York. The site was most likely taken down by a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack.
The website was restored Friday afternoon.
The group pledged to carry out more attacks on the Trump empire.
