Amber Alert canceled in Katy for teen

KATY, Texas (FOX 26) - Katy Independent School District police, with help from the FBI and the Harris County Gang Task Force, have found 13-year-old Wendy Arely Hernandez-Orantes. An Amber Alert was issued for her on Tuesday morning by the Texas Center for the Missing.

The teen was last seen walking toward her school bus stop on North Fry Road in Katy on Monday just before 6:30 a.m. 

After the agencies worked together to conduct a surveillance operation at a Houston apartment complex, law enforcement officers and agents found Hernandez-Orantes and three people were detained and questioned. 

Jose Enrique Ramos Rivera, 20, also known as Enrique Mejia, was named a suspect in the teen's disappearance when the Amber Alert was issued.
