A 'Miracle Man' and His Angel Nurse

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. - Darryl Bagwell is known at a local hospital as the miracle man, but to Bagwell, nurse Carrie Stone is an angel.

Bagwell had been out on a bike ride when he collapsed at an intersection in Cumming.

Stone, an off-duty nurse, just happened to be passing by and stopped to help. She said when she got there Bagwell was turning purple.

Medics rushed Bagwell to the hospital where doctors later told him he had suffered a sudden cardiac death. His recovery shocked even them.

He said without Stone, he wouldn't be alive today.
