Social media may have contributed to the chaos that broke out at Rosslyn Hall in northeast Houston last night.

This morning signs of the damage are everywhere. The glass on the front door was smashed and a table has been propped into the opening.

There are bullet holes in the wall and windows and there's a bullet hole in the business next door as well.

When police officers arrived, they found kids scrambling and the parking lot littered with bullet casings

According to detectives, this was a party for high school kids.

Somebody put an invitation on social media, and the information just spread like wildfire. Hundreds of kids showed up at the hall on North Houston-Rosslyn Road for the party.

We’re told a number of different fights started and then kids from two different groups pulled out guns and started shooting at each other.

Police officers are reviewing the surveillance tape to see if they can identify the shooters and take them into custody.

Fortunately in all the chaos no one was shot.
