One carjacking led to two chases and a deputy-involved shooting in northwest Harris County.
Last night, deputies responded to a carjacking near Tamfield drive. They spotted the truck they say was stolen and chased the driver. After about five miles, the truck stopped and the driver jumped out and was eventually arrested. The passenger inside the truck drove off leading to a second chase. It ended when the driver drove towards a deputy and that deputy opened fire. The truck then hit several parked cars before driving into a bayou. That driver got away and deputies are still looking for him. No one was hurt.
