- Three people are in jail after a Houston police officer on patrol this morning drove by a drug deal. The officer says he saw three people passing drugs between two vehicles in southeast Houston. Officials say two of the suspected tried to run, one on foot and one in a car. The one that tried to drive away rammed the police car several times. All three were eventually caught.

Houston police have arrested and charged a man in the death of his teenage stepdaughter. Homicide investigators say, "Jessie Ortega junior" shot and killed 19-year-old "Ashleigh smith" at a home in southwest Houston, last month.

            Witnesses in the home identified Ortega as the suspect.

 

Today, a second anti-abortion activist is expected to surrender to Harris county authorities in connection with those undercover Planned Parenthood videos.

            He’s following in the footsteps of Sandra Merritt who turned herself in yesterday.

            Investigators say she and Daleiden used fake driver’s licenses to gain access to several Planned Parenthood offices.

            They hoped to show the agency trafficking in fetal tissue, but a grand jury cleared Planned Parenthood.

 

The criminal case against Bill Cosby is moving forward.

            A judge rejected the testimony of an ex-prosecutor who says he granted Cosby immunity from prosecution a decade ago.

            The decision allows the case to move to a march 8th preliminary hearing.

            Cosby is charged with drugging and violating a former temple university athletic department employee in 2004.
