New Year's Eve robber sought by deputies

- Crime Stoppers of Houston and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Division is seeking help from the public to identify the man responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, specifically a handgun. 

Deputies arrived to a drug store on FM 1960 Road West near Wunderlich Drive at around 8:25 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 and spoke with an employee who told them the man approached the service counter. The robber was holding the handgun and demanded money from the cash register. He also demanded cigarettes.

After the employee complid with the robber's demands, he was able to escape from the area in an undetermined direction.

Store surveillance video captured images of the robber who is described as a black man between ages of 30 and 35 years, standing at a height of 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing 140 lbs. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
