HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Firefighters have rescued two employees from a scaffold that was dangling off the side of Chase Tower in downtown Houston. SkyFOX captured aerial images of the high-angle rescue that began at around 10:37 a.m. Monday.
“We went to the window and we could see at the very top of the building two workers were up there,” said a witness, Amy Lafargue.
“It looked like one of the lines had broke and it was completely tilted down and they were just hanging on for dear life.”
“I could imagine if they had a cell phone they were calling all their family so a just in case measure,” said Priscilla Alexander, a witness at the scene.
“I mean that's a long way down and thankfully there was no tragedies that happened today and they were able to be rescued.”
