66-year-old man arrested in robbery cases

A man whose face was featured on a digital billboard campaign following two aggravated robbery cases was arrested with help from information submitted to law enforcement agencies. Officers with the Houston and Pearland police departments arrested Houston resident Curley Junior Larks, 66, on Wednesday night.

Larks is charged with aggravated robbery - using or exhibiting a deadly weapon for two separate incidents at the Frost Bank on West Broadway Street in Pearland. The robberies were reported on Dec. 16, 2014 and Oct. 8, 2015. He is in custody at the Brazoria County Jail on a $500,000 bond.

Channel Outdoor and Lamar Advertising donated the digital billboard space as a public service to the community across Texas.
