3 more families homeless after another fire at the Palms apartments in the Galleria

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Now 3 more families at the Palms apartments are looking for another home.

The Galleria-area apartment complex was the site of a massive 4 alarm fire Tuesday that burned 30 units. Last night another fire, in another building on the property.

Fortunately firefighters were able to get the fire contained quickly and to just one apartment, though 2 other apartments suffered smoke and water damage.

Investigators suspect this fire was caused by an electrical fire in an air conditioner but they are still investigating to confirm that. They are still investigating what caused the fire last Tuesday.
