So many are mourning the loss of the three Houston teens killed in that tragic car crash near Corpus Christi. At West University Elementary School notices have gone out to parents because 19-year old Brianna Robinson, who died in the wreck, worked at West U Elementary for a year and a half.

“Bri was always a joy, always a smile on her face,” says former co-worker Tristan Anderson.

The teen began working at West U as a clerk after graduating Bellaire High.

“She had a very pleasant disposition, always happy, smiling, very nice person to be around, very easy to get along with.  Our faculty really had a lot of respect for her,” explains West University Elementary Principal John Threet.

“The kids that she did come in contact with, knew them by name right off the bat.  Always had a smile on her face, just a happy and joyous person to be around,” adds Anderson.

19-year-old Brianna, her sister 17-year-old Jade Robinson and 18-year-old Brittanie Johnson were killed in a crash near Corpus Christi Sunday.  They were returning from Spring Break on South Padre Island.  Investigators say the driver 18-year-old Shelby Coleman became distracted glancing at her cell phone GPS.  Their car ended up in the path of an 18-wheeler.

“I'm still in disbelief.  She will be missed,” says Anderson.

“It's just a tragedy to me.  I have two adult daughters. I cannot imagine losing both my children on the same day.  My wife and I were talking about this last night. This must be exceptionally difficult,” says Threet who says grief counselors are available, if necessary.

”My heart, my prayers go out to the family,” Anderson says.

“I know they have a GoFundMe page. We sent that link out to our parents to help the family,” says Threet.

Brianna is a Bellaire graduate. Johnson was once a Bellaire High School student and was working. Jade Robinson was a Senior at Bellaire and was the captain of the volleyball team. The 17-year-old received a scholarship to play volleyball at Tennessee Wesleyan College.  All three girls died in the wreck.  Coleman is a senior at Lamar High School and remains in ICU in a Corpus hospital.  Many are praying for all the families with an extra request for strength for the loved ones of the two sisters who dies.  Although, that's the very thing providing some with peace.

“That brings a little more comfort to my heart knowing she had her sister right there next to her,” says Anderson.

Anderson says Brianna would read bible scriptures every morning and talk about what she read when she arrived at work.  He says her joy was like a light and filled any room she entered.
