Mom and brother of slain teen appear before judge on robbery charges

- The mother and older brother of a 14-year-old gunned down the day after his birthday appeared before a judge today on robbery charges. According to authorities, the arrests led to the older brother's admission to the shooting. Ellen Breaux and her 17-year-old son, Messiah Breaux, were taken into custody on Wednesday night, charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

The mother and son were both standing next to each other weeping as the charges were presented--both have been charged with aggravated robbery. According to authorities, there were three people involved with the carjacking robbery of a man last month

Ellen Breaux's bond is $50,000, but her son, Messiah has no bond. Attorneys believe he is a threat. the judge agreed tohold him with no bond so thecommunity would not be in dangerwhile we investigated the case.

Right after her 14-year-old son, O'Cyrus was shot to death on Monday, Ellen Breaux broke down in tears, talking about how her son was a good son who had just celebrated his 14th birthday. The investigation continues in O'Cyrus Breaux's shooting death.
