Passengers make a safe landing in Houston after emergency diversion to Jackson, Mississippi

- Passengers landed safely in Houston, after an initial flight scare on SW flight #214. One passenger said he hoped he never has another flight like the one that he experienced en route from Atlanta to Houston. They had not been in the air for very long when the oxygen mask dropped out of the ceiling.

The Captain announced that the plane was having some type of pressurization problem. He then made an emergency landing in Jackson, Mississippi.  There was no report of injuries. The passengers were then moved to another plane which got them to Hobby airport around 2:00am this morning. One passenger said, "I was half asleep. I woke up to the mask dropping and everybody just looked at them for a second. It was like a surreal moment. and so everybody started putting their masks on, not knowing -- we had no idea what was going on."

Another passenger said,  "I just kept the mask on and prayed for the best. i had to pretend like i wasn't scared...I was freaking out.  It was really scary. it was surreal for sure."
