HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A person has suffered a broken leg after falling down an elevator shaft from the third floor of the George R. Brown Convention Center to the building basement. That person has been taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital - Texas Medical Center.
Houston First Corporation released the following statement regarding the incident on Wednesday morning:
An accident Wednesday morning at the George R. Brown Convention Center involving an employee of TD Industries is currently under investigation. Our primary concern is for the safety and well being of the injured employee.

Wednesday morning, an employee of TD Industries (a contractor of Houston First), fell at the George R. Brown Convention Center. Paramedics were called to the scene. The worker was transported to a nearby hospital.
