HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The search is on for the driver who hit a three-year-old boy and dragged him more than 100 feet and then took off.
It happened early yesterday in north Houston witnesses say he three-year-old, Leonardo Alba, was playing with his sister in the front yard and darted out into the street.
Surveillance footage from a neighbor’s house shows the red car that neighbors say hit the little boy.
His father says, “It only took a second. He jumped out and in two second I saw him thrown over there it was very quick.
The young boy was taken to Texas Children's Hospital with leg, arm, and head injuries, but is awake and talking with his family. Police are still looking for the driver of the red vehicle.
