1 death in northwest Harris County shooting

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - One person has died and another person was taken to a hospital after a shooting in northwest Harris County. Deputies arrived to an apartment complex on Hollow Tree Lane near the North Freeway frontage road at around 2 p.m. Sunday and found the body of a black male who was the victim of at least one gunshot wound. They also learned that another black male, who had been wounded, was taken privately to a hospital.

Harris County Sheriff's Office homicide investigators are conducting interviews with witnesses to determine what led to the conflict between two groups of males inside the complex.
