With the annual Consumer Electronics Show taking place in Las Vegas, the latest innovations are on display. Among them, the rollable television. While it is still a prototype, LG says it is not too far from being "rolled out" to stores.

One model of electric car is trying to compete with Tesla. It is both electric and self-driving. The Fisker luxury EMotion can travel 400 miles on one electric charge at a top speed of 161 mph which it can reach within three seconds. With the battery, a nine-minute charge can yield 125 miles of distance traveled. It also features butterfly doors. Practically everything can be controlled with your smartphone. How much will this model cost you? Approximately $130,000.

The Future Is Now

The U.S. Army has developed a virtual reality game to train teachers on active shootings. You can play as a teacher, law enforcement officer or shooter. It will give teachers perspective to better understand how the scenarios all play out. The Army hopes practice will better empower teachers to take control should the worst occur. The U.S. government says it's simple, the more experience you have, the better your chances of survival.
