HOUSTON (FOX 26) - FOX 26 is your Black Friday station, and the deals are being revealed.
Amazon made an announcement today about its plan. Cheer clear in the spirit of starting so-called Black Friday sales earlier and earlier, Amazon gets the jump a week early. It starts this Friday, November 20. The deals won't be available all at once. The sales will start in wavers and roll out through the traditional Black Friday, in addition to special promotions along the way.
CNet.com has a sneak peek at some of the gadgets that shopper cans expect to find. A sample includes $35 for an Amazon Fire 7-inch tablet with Wi-Fi connectivity. And for those looking to try streaming content to the TV, the Fire TV device, normally $100, will be at $75. As you might expect a number of flat screen TV’s, big and small, will be on the block, but one particular deal caught our eye that was decently reviewed by CNet.
A 55-inch Roku smart TV for $348. More than half off the regular price.
CNet says they will offer a variety of computer, tablet and wireless speaker, gaming systems and software.
Check Amazon's website or mobile app frequently to stay on top of the deals. The upside, you can do this all from the comfort of your home and perhaps not in a line waiting for a store's doors to open.
