Surveillance video captured images of a man as he approached a resident of at an apartment complex on Wilcrest Drive in southwest Houston, pointed a gun at him, forced him to the ground and took his wallet.
The family of a young mother, who was killed after police say an elderly driver lost control of a sport utility vehicle that crashed into the H-E-B store in Gulfgate Center, has filed a million-dollar wrongful death lawsuit. The suit claims H-E-B is responsible for the deadly accident because the posts outside the store were poorly designed. 74-year-old Dorothy Barnes drove through two spheres into the store. A U.S. Army special operator killed in Iraq marks the first U.S. military combat casualty since the launch of the campaign against ISIS. The death was reported on Thursday as U.S. troops and Iraqi forces raided a compound and freed around 70 ISIS hostages facing execution. U.S. forces killed ten ISIS hostage takers during that raid.
