Seven-year-old Lucy Wiese wasn't able to play outside in the snowstorm over the weekend. Thanks to a thoughtful hospital nurse, however, that didn't get in the way of Lucy enjoying her own winter wonderland.

Lucy, who suffers from a rare immune deficiency called Job syndrome, is recovering from a bone marrow transplant at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Maryland.

The terrible blizzard and Lucy's still-fragile health prevented her from being able to go outside and play in the snow.

When Nurse Alex Classen saw how badly Lucy and other children at the hospital wanted to enjoy the winter weather, she devised a way to bring snow to the kids.

Classen went outside in the cold, filled up tubs with snow and brought them back inside to the children!
