The Capital Grille a Houston Restaurant Weeks participant

For two of the three years that it has been open, The Capital Grille in CityCentre has participated in Houston Restaurant Weeks, an annual event that benefits the Houston Food Bank. In 2015, its second year of participation in HRW, the restaurant was ninth in largest donations made to the food bank out of 223 participating restaurants. The $45 three-course dinner will allow the restaurant to donate $7 to the food bank from each dinner sold. The three-course HRW lunch costs $20, with the restaurant making a $3 donation to the food bank. Chef Jeffrey demonstrates how to encrust a filet mignon with porcini dust and make a marinade for heirloom tomatoes. Managing partner Chris Fannin told FOX 26 News about the different dinner dishes available. View the full HRW menu at HoustonRestaurantWeeks.com.
