HOUSTON (FOX 26) - After serving west Houston residents for almost forty years, Leibman's Wine & Fine Foods on Memorial Drive closed its doors in March 2017 following the decision of owners Etienne and Ralph Leibman to retire. A little more than a year later, their daughter Sharon re-envisioned the restaurant and gift shop,
and has launched a new version of the Leibman's concept on the Katy Freeway near Gessner Road.
Leibman's Eatery, Market & Gifts opened on Saturday, April 14, 2018. Devoted fans will be pleased to learn that Leibman's famous classic dishes like Chicken Salad Afrique, Leibman’s Reuben and 'Gone in a Minute' dip will be featured on the menu, along with some new dishes created by Sharon. And the gift shop is still part of the deli space.
Sharon demonstrates how to prepare 'Gone in a Minute' dip with help from FOX 26 News segment contributor Cleverley Stone.
