HOUSTON (FOX 26) - B&B Butchers and Restaurant was the top Houston Restaurant Weeks 2016 participant, donating more money to the Houston Food Bank than any other establishment in the 15-year history of the event -- $65,000. The donation enable the Houston Food Bank to provide 195,000 meals for those who are food insecure.

279 restaurants from as far north as The Woodlands to as far south as Galveston are participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks, offering multi-course meals varying in price from $20 for lunch to $45 for dinner. Restaurants will donate $3 to $7 per meal sold to the Houston Food Bank.
