Batanga is known for its great food and for having one of the best patios in downtown Houston. The restaurant is a multi-year participant in Houston Restaurant Weeks, which benefits the Houston Food Bank. Chef Rishi Singh, with help from HRW chair Cleverley Stone, demonstrates how to prepare saffron and turmeric creamed spinach, a side dish in its three-course HRW dinner for $35.
