Space Center Houston helps teachers prepare next generation of explorers

Space Center Houston hosts more than 580 of teachers from around the world for its 25th Space Exploration Educators Conference (SEEC).

The goal is help teachers prepare the next generation for space missions with interactive lesson plans and activities to take back to their classrooms.

For the first time ever, the teachers had the opportunity to work with real astronauts and other NASA experts on the interactive lessons. 

Teachers from seven countries including Japan, Mexico and South Africa, attended the conference. Also, 39 states were represented including Alaska.
