HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Nipsey Hussle emerged on the rap scene in 2005. The native of Los Angeles was known for his mixtapes that made the recording sector take notice.
Whether in business, hip-hop or acting, Nipsey Hussle's goal was to be the gold standard as an independent artist which he did with the release of the mixtape "Crenshaw." He chose to make only 1,000 copies and sold them for $100 each -- all in one day!
Nipsey Hussle has worked with everyone from Drake to Rick Ross and has signed a deal with Atlantic Records, releasing his first major album "Victory Lap," which was released in February.
