Do you have what it takes to walk several miles to buy some strawberry cheesecake for Diddy?
If so, it's your time to shine on the "Making the Band" reboot coming back to MTV next year.
Music mogul Diddy announced Monday that the hit reality TV series, where he discovered groups including platinum-sellers Danity Kane, was making a comeback.
He went viral last week when he asked followers on IGTV if he should bring back the series, with many people saying yes.
"Making the Band" made its debut on ABC in 2000 when Lou Pearlman, who managed the Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync, launched the show and formed the boy band O-Town.
Diddy then re-vamped the show for MTV in 2002 and discovered the rap group Da Band, which was sent walking in one infamous episode to get cheesecake for Diddy in Brooklyn.
He also launched the careers of Day 26, Donnie Klang and Danity Kane on the show.
Danity Kane released two No.1 albums under Bad Boy Records.
Unlike before, the global talent search will be on social media. If you want to audition, you can post a video on social media with the hashtag #MTBCasting.
