Aladdin: Disney re-releases the classic with Robin Williams outtakes included

Disney's 'Aladdin' will forever go down as one of Disney's biggest classics of all time. And one character we can easily quote and remember close in our hearts is the Genie, voiced by the late Robin Williams.

The 1992 blockbuster is returning to stores when the “Aladdin: Diamond Edition” on Blu-Ray hits shelves on Tuesday, October 13. It will feature never-before seen outtakes of Robin Williams voicing the Genie in the recording booth, and the details will blow you away.

“We didn’t want to keep the lightning in a bottle,” supervising animator Eric Goldberg told media sources at the D23 fan expo. “When Robin got in front of the mic for the first time, out came all of the celebrity impressions, and I knew we needed to keep them in there.”

The cast reunited on Good Morning America to discuss the movie, sing the memorable tune "A Whole New World", and share their favorite memories of Williams. The full segment can be seen online.

This performance of "A Whole New World" by the original cast of Aladdin is nothing short of shining, shimmering, splendid:
