WrestleMania 33 predictions

- WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match (Kickoff Match) – Neville (c) vs. Austin Aries

Prediction: Austin Aries

Reason: I actually love what WWE has done with Neville, but I don't think he will win this match. Aries is so over with fans right now and it's hard to see him lose. I think this could be one of those situations where Aries wins and then the two of them beat each other several times over the next few months. Could be a good stretch of matches.

The Fourth Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (featuring Big Show, Sami Zayn, Braun Strowman, Apollo Crews, Mojo Rawley and other WWE Superstars)

Prediction: Sami Zayn

Reason: Braun Strowman stands out like a sore thumb, but that's too obvious of a pick. Sami being so close to the now "fired" Mick Foley ... he wins.

Raw Tag Team Championship Triple Threat Ladder Match – Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson (c) vs. Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Cesaro & Sheamus

Prediction: Enzo Amore & Big Cass

Reason: I loathe Gallows and Anderson. I don't think they are over with the rest of WWE fans either. Cesaro & Sheamus are a quality tag team, but they've won the titles before and have the distinction of ending the New Day's record-breaking title streak. There was a story on Yahoo! about Big Cass, so it's obvious they win this match.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match – Champion Alexa Bliss to defend against all female SmackDown LIVE! Superstars who are available to compete

Prediction: Naomi

Reason: Come on?! Even if I end up being wrong on this pick, you can't tell me you didn't pick her as the obvious winner when she returned to Smackdown Live this past week. For those of you who don't know, Naomi won the woman's title but immediately had to give it up due to injury. Now she's back and WWE should capitalize on her being so over with fans.

Intercontinental Championship Match – Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Baron Corbin

Prediction: Baron Corbin

Reason: This is another prediction based on how much I've noticed the WWE pushing a particular superstar. Dean Ambrose is one of my faves, but Baron Corbin also has an "it" factor – and he's younger (I think). Corbin will win this match, which will probably be one of the better matches on the card.

United States Championship Match – Chris Jericho (c) vs. Kevin Owens

Prediction: Kevin Owens

Reason: Someone posed this question to me and a few others on Facebook earlier this week, and everyone else chose Jericho. I choose Owens because it's clear WWE is pushing him. Jericho is a Hall of Famer, but if you remember, he also lost a WrestleMania match to Fandango. Let that sink in.

Raw Women’s Championship Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match – Bayley (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Sasha Banks vs. Nia Jax

Prediction: Nia Jax

Reason: Have I mentioned how awesome I think Charlotte Flair is? If I haven't ... she is awesome. I love everything about her. With that said, it's too easy of a pick. So I'm going out on a limb and picking Nia Jax to have her WrestleMania moment. WWE hasn't done a good job of booking Bayley lately, so she's not going to retain. Flair has dominated the women's revolution, but there needs to be someone else besides her and Sasha as a viable threat. Jax is that woman.

SmackDown LIVE Commissioner vs. The Phenomenal One – Shane McMahon vs. AJ Styles

Prediction: Shane McMahon

Reason: He's a McMahon. Also, he lost to The Undertaker last year with a chance to take over RAW on the line. I don't think he loses this match to Styles. WWE will find a way to make AJ look incredibly strong despite the loss.

Non-Sanctioned Match – Seth Rollins vs. Triple H

Prediction: Seth Rollins

Reason: This is hard. Everything is pointing to Rollins winning this match, but then I start to second guess myself because it's Triple H and he's sort of had a rough record at WrestleMania lately (lost to Undertaker twice, and Reigns last year). Sure, he beat Sting a few years ago, but he also lost to Daniel Bryan, too. So it's almost like, does WWE pull a shocker and have Rollins lose? I say no, simply for the fact that Rollins missed Mania last year and his career could use another boost.

Power Couples Collide – John Cena & Nikki Bella vs. The Miz & Maryse

Prediction: John Cena & Nikki Bella

Reason: I love to hate The Miz. His mic skills are impeccable, and he's a true bad guy. I am also one of the few grown ups who likes John Cena. That's why, for no other reason except pure fandom, that I think Cena and Nikki win this match. Besides, if the Miz wins and Cena goes off to do another movie like he says he's about to do, then that's all we'll hear about for months on end. And with Cena gone, it does nothing for an ongoing rivalry. Cena and Nikki for the win, and maybe a marriage proposal after?

The Phenom vs. The Big Dog – The Undertaker vs. Roman Reigns

Prediction: Roman Reigns

Reason: A little harder to predict, but let's face facts. As much as everyone loves The Undertaker – me being one of them – he needs to pass the torch at some point. WWE has been high on Reigns since the beginning, to the point where fans are almost as sick of him as they are John Cena. But WWE knows what it wants, and if they want to take this guy to another level, no match will accomplish that more than having him beat The Phenom. FYI: I do like Roman Reigns.

Universal Championship Match – Goldberg (c) vs. Brock Lesnar

Prediction: Brock Lesnar

Reason: I admit, I am a wrestling nerd. From what I've read, Goldberg's contract expires after Mania. Also, I've heard his body isn't taking too kindly to being back in the squared circle. Am I believing too much of the propaganda? Probably. Either way, there's no way Lesnar doesn't walk out of WrestleMania 33 as the new champ. Period. Another loss to Goldberg doesn't make sense.

WWE Championship Match – Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Randy Orton

Prediction: Bray Wyatt

Reason: My first thought was to go with Orton. I mean, as much as fans have enjoyed Bray finally getting his due, the fact that WWE went through such great lengths to have Randy Orton join the Wyatt family and then destroy them from within over the course of several months tells me the Viper will win this one. But that's just way too obvious. Bray does deserve a longer title run – he and WWE have more to gain from a Wyatt title run than putting the strap back around the Viper's waste. Sorry, Randy.
