- Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ activities throughout the day on Friday will recognize BLACK HERITAGE DAY, sponsored by Kroger, and culminate with musician Alicia Keys performing on the revolving stage at NRG Stadium. Her performance will follow the RODEOHOUSTON® Super Series II Round 1, which begins at 6:45 p.m.

The following livestock and horse show activities will take place on Friday:

Black Heritage Day entertainment  begins at 9 a.m. on the Stars Over Texas Stage and ends at 7 p.m. 

The Champion Wine Garden will be open from 4 p.m. until 12 a.m. Saturday and will include the following performances:
5 p.m. Steve Straker Carruth Plaza – Acoustic Stage
7 p.m. The Grateful Geezers Band Carruth Plaza – Main Stage

The Hideout will be open from 6 p.m. until 12 a.m. Saturday with Keith Frank scheduled to perform at 10:15 p.m.
