FOX 26 News reporter Rob Wu
From 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on St. Patrick's Day, more than 25 radio stations throughout the U.S. are working together to combat sickle cell disease and cancer in children. In 2015, the Radio Cares national broadcast raised more than $1.4 million and attracted thousands of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital donors.
Majic 102.1 FM (Radio One station KMJQ) and The Yolanda Adams Morning Show (based in Houston) are participating in the Radio Cares event.
