HOUSTON (FOX 26) - If you have been hearing of a Snoop Dogg sighting in Houston, chances are your eyes did not deceive you.
Rapper Snoop Dogg also met with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, Congressional leaders, Texas State Representatives, Houston-area ministers and leaders in business and community to give them all a message that there is a way to reach the lost "gang bangers" and drug dealers outside the walls of the church.
Snoop is in Houston as the lead cast member of the Je'Caryous Johnson stage production "Redemption of a Dogg.“ The play will be which takes place this Friday through Sunday at The Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.
Along with documenting his day in Houston on his Instagram account, he checked in with his friend, Houston jeweler Johnny Dang.
The "Redemption of a Dogg“ cast also features Tamar Braxton, Omar Gooding, Demetria McKinney, Eric Benet and LaToya London. Tickets range from around $60 to $75 but they are going quick!
