Cajun Crawfish with a Twist

 Crawfish season will be wrapping up in a few weeks. So, if you want to get your fill of the fresh crustaceans, it's time to make plans to hit up a crawfish restaurant soon.

 One place to keep in mind is the Cajun Kitchen. And, don't let the name fool you. This place serves up Cajun-Asian crawfish.

"To me Cajun-Asian crawfish is Vietnamese people taking traditional cajun cooking and adding in Vietnamese flavors," said owner John Nguyen. "We add in garlic, onions, orange, and other spices."

The other twist is that after cooking the crawfish in a traditional Cajun boil they then cook them a second time in a super hot wok to caramelize the flavors on the crawfish.

And if crawfish isn't your thing, they also cook up king crab legs, blue crab, Gulf shrimp and serve up other Vietnamese dishes.
